LIFE

     After God created the world, He created. He created life--both plant and animal--and then He created man  God gave the animal kingdom life but not a soul.  That is the unique difference between animal life and human life. God made man a living soul by breathing the breath of life into him.  God created man in His likeness and in His image, (Gen.1:26-27) i.e., trinity--body, soul, and spirit, God being trinity as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

     Man's behavior is determined by the spirit that dwells in his soul. Some people have good spirit and others have evil spirits.  And some have the appearance of having good spirits but inward they are raving wolves in sheep's clothing (Matt. 7:15). This should be no surprise because Satan can appear as an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:14).

      The tree of knowledge was in the garden of Eden; however, Adam and Eve were denied the fruit thereof, but they disobeyed God and ate of it and lost everlasting life, but gained the knowledge of good and evil and death (Gen. 3:22). Because of Adam's sin, the human race must die.

     Adam's sin was perhaps the greatest event recorded in the Old Testament.  His sin brought death to the human race for all time to come.  Except for Adam's sin, the world would truly be a utopia, and when Christ defeats Satan when He reigns as "Lord of Lords and King of Kings, the world will be a utopia.

     The wise man, Solomon, understood the temperance of life:  "Vanity of vanities, . . . all is vanity.: (Eccl. 1:2)  :I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and all is vanity and vexation of spirit." (Eccl. 1:14(

     Job understood the vanity of life.  He said, "Man that is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble." (Job 14:1)

     Life on earth is temporary and death is sure. But man's soul is eternal and shall never cease to exist. When God breathed the breath of life into Adam, his soul became an eternal being. The Bible speaks of the soul dying but there is a difference between dying and ceasing to exist. Christ died on the cross but He still existed and went down to hell and took the keys of death, hell and the grave away from Satan.

However, God still loved man and sent His only begotten Son to offer himself for man's redemption so man could have "everlasting life" (Ref. John 3:16).

                                                                                                           DEATH

     We all know too well about death.  It is around us all the time.  Everybody know that they shall eventually die; however, it is not an event that is looked forward to with joy.  Far more people are preparing to live than are preparing to die because the afterlife is forever and life is as Job said, "of few days and full of trouble." Job 14:1  The wise man Solomon said, "One generaton passeth away, and another generation cometh; . . . Eccl. 1:4  Life is uncertain and death is sure.  Preparing to die is more important than preparing to live on this earth.

     Solomon said, "Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, . . ." Eccl. 12:1 Amos said, "prepare to meet thy God, . . ." Amos 4:12.

     The peoples of the world need to take the advice of the prophets and preachers very, very serious.  With the dark clouds World War III hanging low and the most ungodly of peoples in control of governments and armed with the deadliest weapons ever known to man. Those of us that know a little bible prophecy know that the world is unstable. Many signs are pointing to great destruction very soon.  More bible prophecy have been fulfilled since Israel regained a part of the Promised Land in 1948 than have been fulfilled in the last 2,000 years.  Signs are pointing toward billions of people dying is a short period of time. It is best to be prepared to die at any time.  When Christ spoke of the signs we are witnessing today, He said: " look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh." Luke 21:28

                                                                                      JUDGMENT

     The bible has a lot to say about God's judgment.  Christ revealed to Paul and  John visions of the judgments, The believers in Christ that have been forgiven of their sins "shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ.: Rom. 14:10 "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the things done in his body, . . according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2 Cor. 5:10.

Then there shall be another judgment--the Great White Throne judgment.  This is the judgment that the lost shall appear before and be judged according to their works. (Ref. Rev. 20:11-13) And those whose names are not found written in the lamb's book of life, shall be turned into hell with Satan and the false prophets. And the smoke of their torment shall accendeth up for ever and ever. (Ref. 14:11)

Speaking of the days in which we live, Christ said, "many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceive many." Matt. 24L11.  However, Christ did not say one word implying that those deceived by false prophets being excused from accountability for their sins.
